I might have a solution for you. Unfortunately on your vehicle, 60 inch long crossbars are the largest cross bars that are confirmed to fit on the roof of your 2014 GMC Yukon XL. Based on the excellent information you have given me, I estimate about 8,500 to 9,000 pounds total. What I want to focus on is all of the weight that will be behind the rear axle of the 2005 GMC Yukon Denali. So we can subtract 230 pounds for you, a 120 pound wife, 260 pounds of kids and dogs. Having three sets of mounting points on the flush side rails on your roof is normal. You would still only need two legs. Getting three would not increase your weight capacity on your pioneer platform. If anything, three legs would be used if you're mounting three crossbars to increase the amount of surface you can put stuff on. In that case, just get a platform so that you can use ALL the space.

If you were to use the Weathertech Cargo Liner part # WT43677 that fits your 2017 GMC Yukon XL and covers up the third row seats when used you'd basically need to partially roll up the front of the mat so that the seats can come up like they need to.
